CHILD’S PLAY: It’s Fall Y’all!

It's Fall Y'all!

Fall festivals abound in Downtown Marietta. Check out these fun activities designed to bring out the kid in each of us.

Marietta Streetfest
September 19-20

The 24th Marietta StreetFest returns to the historic Marietta Square with arts & crafts, local musicians and plenty of free fun activities for children. Back by popular demand is the Children’s Zone with plenty of activities that include bounce houses, giant slides, make-and-take craft projects and other interactive stations and games. It’s all the fun a kid could ask for, and it’s even larger this year. mariettastreetfest.com

Brand new this year is the Kids on the Block section, featuring a variety of arts and crafts for the whole family; this area is open Saturday, October 11. chalktoberfest.com

Harvest Square Arts & Crafts Festival
October 17

In addition to a wide variety of arts and crafts items, carnival games and lots of prizes will thrill the little ones. Public, City and County schools and local organizations show their creativity and personality by making a scarecrow as part of the City’s annual Scarecrows on the Square contest each fall.

Everyday Play

Enjoy the shade on the Northwest corner of the Square while the kids play at the reproduction train and depot.
